"What Options Do I Have to Keep My Home?"
If you want to keep your home, and have experienced a hardship or loss of income that has made your mortgage unaffordable, there are several loan modification opportunities that you may be eligible for. Please visit our Loan Modifications page to learn the different solutions to your hardship.

If you are experiencing a temporary financial hardship, we may be able to grant you additional time to catch up on past due payments under an agreement called a Forbearance Plan. For more information on this plan, please visit our Forbearance page.

"What Options Do I Have If I Don't Want to Keep the Property?"
If you want to move on, you may be eligible to avoid foreclosure on your home through a short sale or deed-in-lieu program. These programs may even provide cash for relocation.

Short sales are intended to help homeowners sell their property in a situation where the amount owed on the home may be more than its current value. For more information, please visit our Short Sales page.

A deed-in-lieu of foreclosure is when a homeowner deeds their property to Bayview Loan Servicing®. This route is often taken when the property could not be sold during a short sale. For more information, please visit our Deed-in-Lieu page.

The Home Affordable Foreclosure Avoidance (HAFA) program is a government program that may give you the opportunity to move on and transition into a more affordable home. Depending on the investor of your loan, you may be able to apply for a HAFA review no later than December 30, 2016. For more information on this program, please visit our HAFA page.
