Catch Up On Past Due Payments
We may grant you additional time to catch up on past due payments under an agreement called a forbearance plan. These plans are normally limited to a period of three to six months. You may be required to submit current financial information to determine whether you are eligible for this option.

Is a Forbearance Plan Right for Me?
A Forbearance Plan may be your best option if:
  • You are about to or already have missed a payment
  • You are facing a short-term financial hardship such as unemployment, illness, divorce, or other unexpected loss of income

Important Documentation
In most cases, a Hardship Application may be the first step for Bayview to review your current financial situation when requesting help with your mortgage. Your Bayview representative will advise you if you need to complete this application.

Once you have completed the application, please use one of the five simple ways to return documents to Bayview.

Examples of these costs include title searches, appraisals and valuations.
